Bcare develops advanced BMS for Lithium batteries, capable of monitoring not only the behavior of the complete battery but also of the different sub-modules that compose it and even more, on the different groupings of cells in parallel that compose each sub-module.
The BMS periodically monitors the value of the most relevant battery variables. An algorithm interprets this information in real time and makes an estimate of the state of charge (SoC) and state of health (SoH) of the battery. Similarly, it uses the monitoring information to manage the protections, which will disconnect the battery from the charger in case of current (I), voltage (V) or temperature (T) out of range, and generate the corresponding alarms. The BMS includes a communication port with the charger, as well as an LED to inform about the battery status.
