During the execution of the project, Bcare carried out the collection and analysis of the customer´s current operation and maintenance procedures with NiCd batteries installed.
It carried out the review and optimization of current rectifier-battery maintenance strategies, failure mode analysis and definition of key parameters, which were analyzed for integration into a new intelligent monitoring and diagnostic system of the customer.
Finally, a new technical instruction for rectifier-battery maintenance was drafted, including the possible improvements detected.
